weird calls.....
So, the other day I get a call, which is my last one of the night, and I answer it like I do all the rest. "Thank you for holding....." The person on the other line says to me "Hi. I need a man" Well, I didn't know what to say so I said "Pardon me?" She says "Stephanie, I need a man." So, I said that we were not able to transfer to a specific gender" The woman on the phone says "Well, I need a man." I asked if I would be able to help her and she said "No. I need a man and I'm gonna call back until I get one." And hung up.
You think that's weird??? Just wait.
Well, the next day on my last call was that exact same woman! She said that exact same things to me and then hung up when I told her that I couldn't put a man on the phone.

That's okay, the most fun with not being local, or even in the country in this case is when they threaten to sue you personally. Number one, I don't even work for AWS, third party anonimity. And number two, let me add you to the list, I think I have room on page five, so get in line. And on the subject of weird calls, we had the mad wanker call our center like 5 times the one night and the girl next to me got him twice, all you could hear was his moaning in the background and he hung up when he got guys. Thank god that stopped.

i also had one woman call who wanted cr and she was not elligible for it..she came to canada and she thought that her local plan in california would include any roaming in canada..i told her that i would not give her any cr and she said that her uncle was the president of attws and that i better pack up my stuff because i would be fired within a half hour..my supervisor was monitoring that call and a half hour later she came over with security and asked me to gather my things and come with her.....then she burst out laughing and told me that she monitored that call..it was funny as hell

Theres some guy who calls in and gets only women and then he asks how to change the date and time on the v.66 r225 n105 ( i'm with t-mobile) And then when they explain how to change it he asks them to spell out the steps. like you would press menu then he would want you to spell out menu and then say "do it" after every letter he doesn't have a accout with t-mobile and our call center has gotton this guy about at 5 times over the past few months that i know about. The really messed up thing is i got the # that he called from from and did a reverse look up And its a bakery in boston!

Ohmigods! 😳 I know a couple of women who got that guy, what a weirdo... When I was working for another company we had this one dude who seemed to be calling in from a mental ward on the payphones or something. He always started out by saying he hoped our son who has the same birthday as the caller had a great Thanksgiving dinner, then he'd proceed to give us a laundry list of stuff he wanted sent, like a six pack of Pepsi, some Snickers bars, etc. We finally got to the point where we'd just agree to send it all, 'cuz if you tried to reason with him he'd be on the line for hours... On the really creepy side, there was the perfectly personable and polite person I had to give bad news to, he seemed okay and I was doing my best to sugarcoa...

ok repeat callers...i have a dealer that i get about once a week and he says he has a few manual reviews when i ask him how many is a few and he says a few to me might not be a few to him so i have to make him tell me how many he has and he finally says...35 or 40 can you believe that guy? And the worst thing is he does it all the time!

I was call coaching new hire class last week, and one of the other call coaches had to take an escelation for a rep because the customer allowed someone to use their phone, they called Thailand and got a $2000 phone bill. The new rep had told her the calls were legit and that we wouldnt credit her for the calls, the rep who took the escelation told her the same thing, and the girl says that she knows they're legitimate and she isn't disputing the fact that they are, just that she can't afford to pay the bill and wants us to credit it because she can't afford to pay her bill now. 🤣 Yeah right.. let me call my mortgage company and ask them to reduce my home loan because I can't afford to pay them.

Oh yeah.. A few months ago I got a call from a guy who had the hicups. So i try and get the wireless number and he is "searching around for it" all the while asking me how to get rid of the hiccups, and do I ever get them? And how do I get rid of them, and when was the last time I got them. WTF?? He disconnects after I ask again for his wireless number, so I start cracking up and told one of my team mates about this wierdo, when another team mate gets a call and its the same guy, asking about hicups.. What a freak!

that guy is a prank caller i have gotten him about three times and he always does the same thing asking if i've ever had the hiccups and when he's had his fun he just hangs up!! How weird is that?
