Question for CC and AT&T reps
I bought a Motorola v600 two days ago for the price of $199.99. Today, they're selling it for an even lower price of $174.99. Is there any way that I could get that lower price adjustment? If so, how would I go about doing that? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello I am a customer care rep, when you purchase a phone at a particular price it is the price you pay at the time and like any company, pricing is subject to change at anytime without notice, sorry 😕
...
True but most companies will refund you the difference within a certain time limit.....

No offers change all the time you might see it for 99.99 with a 100.00 rebate in 3 months but if you bought it for a higher price thats the price you pay for getting it early. Good way to shop is to wait about 6 months after then go get it. Kinda like computer equipment starts real high goes real low.

I know I haven't been in months, but here is a recent surprise.
Would you believe that ATTWS is now in Gainesville, Florida(32614) as of this past wednesday 3/31/04.
Yes they are now active here, but they offer only TDMA service. GMS/GPRS will becoming here in two months.
Would someone explain to me why they opened up ATTWS store at this time if Cingular is taking them over in the very near future?
In our Oaks Mall they have T-Mobile, Verizon, Alltel and Cingular. I asked the sales rep why didn't they get in the Mall with the other carriers? He said, "The mall didn't want them(ATTWS) in there".
Once again thanking for finding the time to read this. (By the way, I dropped ATTWS in January, for a more reliable carrier)...

Well, ATTWS did say "business as usual" until the merger goes through.

Technically if you were to cancel your service under the 30 days buyers remorse and then go on the web and order a new line of service you could get the new price. Just remember, it can take up to 60 days from the date AWS receives the equipment back before you receive your refund. That's a lot of dough to be out of pocket. Otherwise you should be grateful that you got a $370 phone for $200 less than a week after it was released and bite the bullet on the $25.00 difference.
...
My guess is that if you go into the store where you got it - or even another company store, when you say you want to cancel they will probably ask what it would take to keep you. Simply say the $25 diff. in the phone price.
