ROGERS
Yeah,if Cingular bought out att,and Rogers is Att here in Canada, does that mean that Rogers is now owned by Cinggy? I always wondered... 🙄
...
No Cingular does not own Rogers...Rogers Wireless bought out ATT in Canada like 5 years ago...or more, they are thier own company!

Rogers was never actually owned/owned ATT in canada, it was just an affiliate. Used the company name to get itself off the ground. Fido doesn't suck.. well.. the coverage blows. But the plans are ok! I pay $25 a month for free incoming, NW from 7, and 100 anytime minutes.
Got to love not having roaming charges in canada. Only get charged appropriate LD charges, people pay LD to call you, but if you make a call local to the area you are in, it just comes out of your regular minutes. It's great.
Cheaper to roam in the united states as a candian, than to roam on another carriers system as anamerican.. my international roaming rate is only $.20 a minute.
I'm talking about nothing because I'm between calls. Yay.
