BlueTooth phones?

I have been a long time customer with Verizon even before they became Verizon. So- I have always had CDMA technology. Still have my Motorola Star TAC (works very well, thank-you)
However, I have since puchased a new car that will synchronize with a bluetooth phone.
It appears that Verizon will not have a BlueTooth phone for some time, possibly late this year, if then.
I am considering switching to AT&T or Cingular and possibly buying the new Nokia 6820 or another bluetooth enabled phone. I don't travel as much as I used to and am wondering if anyone can tell about the AT&T service. Also would like to hear from anyone that has the bluetooth enabled phones which one is the best. I live in the northern Ohio area.
Thanks

If you mean Toledo as northern Ohio, then the service will work fine. I can't speak for the rest of Ohio as I've only gone from Michigan to Cedar Point. But along that route it was great service pretty much.

As far as bluetooth phones go, there are ups and downs on all of them:

The SE T68i was the best DATA phone (Bluetooth, IR, etc.) but the reception on it was terrible.
The 6310i had bluetooth and great reception (Nokia), but the bluetooth was lacking in key features such as being able to connect for wireless data.
The 3650 was really great for bluetooth also, reception was great, but the phone is FUGLY and annoying to use, perhaps the updated version (the normal keypad) is better.

Those are the phones with BT I've personally us...

Thanks for the info. Northern Ohio is the Cleveland area for me.
I bought the new 2004 Acura TL and would like to have a phone that I can use with this car.
Really don't need the camera or data capabilty but they all seem to come with the phone.
Also appreciate the "tip" about having them demonstrate the BlueTooth phone with my car. That's an excellent idea.
Just not sure if I should wait for the new Motorola 600.
Again thanks

Personally I don't like Motorola phones... hell, even a Motorola employee came to this forum bashing his own company's phones. LOL 🤣
