My funny one is when they say,

Customer: they got it for free, i want it for free too.

Me: well he is signing up for a 2 year contract, will you?

Customer:I already did, where is my loyalty?

Me: your loyalty is appreciated, see you have already gotten your free phone when you signed up, and you are not even eligible for new customer pricing, so for your loyalty, we are allowing you to get new customer pricing, and you are not paying a start of service fee like the new customer, so you are getting better then a new cusromer.

Customer: Thats not enough, if you appreciated loyalty, you would give to me for no contract

Tell me when we became a non profit company- its ok for the customer to earn a living but the company's not...

What really gets me is the people who throw out the word "loyalty" when they've been a customer for a year and a few months. They signed a contract RQUIRING their service for two years. Loyalty would be staying for years, renewing contracts after the initial service dates pass.

I hear people talking about loyalty when they have been with us for 4 months... and they are talking about going to Verizon (Sprint, T-Mo, whatever).

Loyal customers understand their terms of service, use their service, report service related problems in a timely manner and make payments on time. They don't constantly "threaten" their service providers.
