Question for Cingular
Has anyone that works for ATTWireless heard about any staff cuts with AT&T wireless employees? If so any locations?

i know one place that we will have staff cuts, and that's in College Station Texas, we have two ATT stores here that are corporate and 3 cingular Corporate. So, i would say the ATT stores will disappear after the deal is done..

I haven't heard anything regarding closures at this points. There were Cingular employees outside our call center today handing out flyers for CWA union.. It was quite funny, security walked out and told them to leave.

I just hope the 3rd party vendor i work for retains the contract because of our good service or we get assigned to Kraft. I think it'd be a blast to do cust care for Kraft.

there was talks in this call center (also a 3rd party vendor) back in december that IF attws got sold and we lost our contract with them, we might end up doing cust care for sprint or directv. it's just a wait and see game atm.

kraft sure would be nice, id doubt theyd let all that knowledge go to waste, chances are another ws carrier.
