Here you go...This guy could really use some counseling, and some medication too I would think. Pretty funny stuff!

The Verizon Rampage

10.01.04

Jason Perala of Fargo, N.D., was unhappy with his cell service. So he walked into the mall, put on his safety goggles and unleashed a display of felonious destruction.

You were arrested for destroying a Verizon store. What happened?

Poor service. An unreliable phone. Fifteen months of getting screwed over by Verizon. My phone would just shut off. I pay money so I can rely on it. And I couldn't rely on it.

What specifically drove you over the edge?

Let me start three weeks before it happened. My phone wasn't working. I'd push a number button and it'd go to "m...

wow...some people have issues...im glad i dont work at a store...all i deal with these days are store reps who mess things up and i get to clean up after. like i had a caller....a store rep told her she could not no way in heck ever do it, keep her phone number and switch to cingular! wtf? i can understand comminison sales....but when it drives you to out and out lie....you should not be allowed to retain your job. if i get that reps info ill be filing a coaching and vendor feedback. as i do with any situation like this. but at least i dont thro computers around.

Lol, I'm on sales but I totally agree with you. Misinformation makes everyones job harder, and those kinds of agents should have their agency revoked. If they aren't making any money off upgrades, they need to hash out those issues with their managers instead of taking it out on the customer.

Yeah have written up so many store reps. for adding commissonable features without customers consent, telling them care can issue a credit for a new phone, asking us to apply a credit for a phone they can very well do themselves, missinformation, not adv. about the $15.00 activation fee on a new phone, being rude to the customer, etc...

I like the idea of telling customers that store reps. work on comission and that they should be aware that stepping into a store could result in more money leaving their pocket then they bargained for.

But I must conclude with the fact that the only calls we get from store reps. are the bad reps. cause the good ones are just too damn good for their job 🙂 .

I do apologize if I insulted the good reps. I never ment to insult you guys, keep up the awesome work.
