Another report for Consumer Affairs

CinRep

Jan 10, 2005, 10:52 PM
I just got off a call in which the customer was demanding a SUP before I was even able to verify the account. While the customer was going on about his issue, I noticed that the customer had migrated to Cingular, being an AT&T legacy rep, I did not have access to Cingular systems, cust was mad b/c the last rep would not get him a Cingular rep who could send him out a replacement phone. I informed him that we could not get him a rep that could order the phone for him tonight b/c Cinglar CC has been closed for almost an hour. Cust then went off about going to consumer affairs b/c I was being rude in not getting him a SUP.
Thats when I got irritated. I told the customer that if he wanted to go to consumer affairs about our CSE's business hours...

Legacy blue isn't allowed to. We got an email telling us about pseudonyms, but we aren't allowed to get one unless we can provide a darn good reason (ie, psycho ex-spouse, stalkers, etc).

Hmmm we haven't been told to use our last names yet in my center and we're legacy blue care.

We were told as of Jan. 1.

We were also given the opportunity to use a pseudo last name. We just have to complete a form and submit it to our supervisors for approval. There's only a few rules:

- Name is not a duplicate of another representative in the center
- Will not be considered offensive to our customers
- Not the name of a famous person
- Not considered unprofessional

I have enough remembering my own name sometimes, let alone a fake one. So, I'll be using my real name. Let the customer try to find me. 😈

I wouldnt have so much a problem with using my real last name if not for the fact that I'm a Jr. and i'd hate for my dad to be unknowingly stalked by some psycho who's pissed off because he got double charged for his Clay Aiken ringtone.

I cant wait for my Pseudo whatever to get approved so I can start using my new name, Randy Orton.
