SST, temp to perm
Anyone have any idea what is going on w/ the SST situation. I was hired 1 1/2 months before the merger and still have not received Seibel training. My 90 days is soon approaching. Now hearing rumor convert date has been pushed back. Anyone have any conformation. 😡

if your an sst rep and havent recieved training yet i wouldnt worry. they'll probally just leave you on the phones to adapt to things yourself, by following the "issues" logs and emails...calling rez....and so on. i highly doubt cingular will let go all the reps who were just recently hired, just because of merger issues. but just one piece of advice for ALL sst reps old and new....your web tools includes a few useful items. 1: poet. tells you exactly if a number is 2g...3g...landline....and so on. fire your callers number into that before you even use the lookup tool. ask your sup if you cant find it. this will save both sst dept and care alot of "mis-transfers" but really...back to your question. your job should be safe.

At my call center we have just began to hire sst reps as a start up project to merges us in to being from strictly TDMA to GSM 3 out of 22 teams have had gsm training and taking gsm calls so I would not worry about sst for a while 🙂
