If you're thinking about switching to AT&T, don't, unless you want to quit your job and become a full time customer.

I recently purchased a Siemens sx56 device through AT&T, b/c it provided all of the features I wanted. Unfortunately, one must go through AT&T, wherein the problem begins.

They will literlly leave you on hold for up to 2 hours, lie to you that they fixed things they never did, and there's no way to actually get anyone to either call you back or you call a person back.

If you are in biz, and you're time has any value, pick a different unit and definitely different provider, b/c you will literally be left stranded by AT&T w/out service or recourse of any kind.

If you're looking for the Best customer service AND by far the best network, go to Verizon Wireless. Even if you have to pay an early termination fee, it is so very much worth EVERY penny!!!!!!!!!

AT&T Wireless is know for poor customer service and poor network..

Absolutely. I took almost 75-80 calls yesterday and approximately 20 of them were port backs FROM Verizon because of their poor customer service.

I think someone said it best in a previous post...it all depends on the person and the situation. No one carrier is perfect for customer service and some things are going to fall thru the cracks. It's how the carrier handles those problems that gives the carrier a good or bad name.

just like I have always said, who you get on that first call means everything, some people hate sprint, thinks they are hell spawn and everything, my first call 6 years ago I got a person who did everything right and I have called them not once for billing or anything, I called twice in 6 yrs to order new phones and once to report a tower down, had sprint svc since june of 97

I had Sprint for a long time while working for an Internet company here in Oklahoma and you're right it's all who you get on the phone.

I can't say that I had the same luck as you. Everytime I called into Sprint for something ranging from paying my bill to reporting an outage, I received the most inept customer service I had ever come across. It really made me wonder what kind of training they put their people thru.

There are TON of former Sprint employees at our call center. (There's a Sprint call center here in OKC as well). Even had a few in my new hire class. All said they were happy to leave and that AWS' training was far superior to Sprint's. I take that with a grain of salt, because I don't know about their situation. For all I know they could be disgruntled about something.

Umm... seriously now. What's up with all these Verizon employees hanging out cheerleading in the AT&T forum? Is verizon getting THAT desperate that they need to chearlead their service online?

Why post something like this. Have you not seen the other posts regarding how VZW is ranked in customer service? I really think if you have nothing intelligent to say then keep out of these Forums.

VZW is just a bunch of arrogent jerks here in the forums.. it seems it would reflect on your company, slandering other companies and going out of your way to disprove something that is based on whatever poll you look at, at the time. JD Power, Consumer Reports, etc are all paid under the table by the highest bidder to spew out bs that doesn't mean CRAP/

You need to go. Does it look like I care what Verizon BS you guys keep posting on the ATTWS forum? Keep your Verizon BS out of the ATTWS forum. Go bother someone who cares, better yet, don't bother anyone anymore. 😡

I am an ATTWS customer, though I live in ATTWS "extended ares" I use their TDMA service here in Gainesville, FL. And it works great all over florida.
So stop bashing ATTWS. Their CSR's have always been helpful and understanding, and I'm not in their home area.
So there, GOOD NEWS for this forum.
And I'm sure there are many customers out there who feel the same way as I do, who don't know about "phonescoop". 😁
