if you're thinking about switiching to AT&T, don't
I recently purchased a Siemens sx56 device through AT&T, b/c it provided all of the features I wanted. Unfortunately, one must go through AT&T, wherein the problem begins.
They will literlly leave you on hold for up to 2 hours, lie to you that they fixed things they never did, and there's no way to actually get anyone to either call you back or you call a person back.
If you are in biz, and you're time has any value, pick a different unit and definitely different provider, b/c you will literally be left stranded by AT&T w/out service or recourse of any kind.

AT&T Wireless is know for poor customer service and poor network..
I think someone said it best in a previous post...it all depends on the person and the situation. No one carrier is perfect for customer service and some things are going to fall thru the cracks. It's how the carrier handles those problems that gives the carrier a good or bad name.
I can't say that I had the same luck as you. Everytime I called into Sprint for something ranging from paying my bill to reporting an outage, I received the most inept customer service I had ever come across. It really made me wonder what kind of training they put their people thru.

Umm... seriously now. What's up with all these Verizon employees hanging out cheerleading in the AT&T forum? Is verizon getting THAT desperate that they need to chearlead their service online?
So stop bashing ATTWS. Their CSR's have always been helpful and understanding, and I'm not in their home area.
So there, GOOD NEWS for this forum.
And I'm sure there are many customers out there who feel the same way as I do, who don't know about "phonescoop". 😁
