migrating customers and unlock codes

does anyone know if at&t will be giving out the unlock codes to customers migrating to cingular after the merger.

No from what we've been hearing at care, is that the att phones will not be unlocked, and if customers want to migrate to cingular plans they get a cingular handset but they aren't unlocking them

I wouldnt count on it. They will probably just work on the systems so Cingular systems will recognize the AT&T phones or sell everyone a Cingular phone.
