it has a maximum goodwill amount which is base on tenure with the company, how much you pay per month, etc. this amount can be given to the cust at the reps discresion, although anything over $25 requires a new 1 year contract
it also has a Projected Zero Profit Point which is at the disposal of resolutions and supervisor, this is the amount that if we gave it to the cust we wouldn't make any money, i don't believe that, but thats what they say.

I discuss the downfalls of both AWS and Convergys with my friends all the time.
I used to work there and there's lots of problems. the Adjustment Advisor being one of them.
it's a useful tool, but stupid.
if goodwill is 40.00, give a 40.00 credit, check the adj. adv. again goodwill isn't 0.00, it's going to be like 30.00, so give them another 30.00 ahahha
either way, I agree with who ever says they need to explain how things work a little better to the reps. It was almost like going through a cave blindfolded for some of the things there.
and don't say i needed to learn all the from training, when I started there it was a new center.
the trainers did not even know how to use the phones! first 100 ...

first off, yes cingular uses primus..... second of all, reguardless of the non-discloser act that i signed, the internet is fairly anoymous, and i feel that the customers of att should be kind of aware of how they are being screwed, and continue to be screwed.... i am not a temp, i have been here for 6 mths, i just feel like speaking up sometimes, now being one of them...and if any of you think cingular will aliveiate any problems, you are just lying to yourselfs, the two worst wireless companies in america teaming up to create a bigger worse company, sounds like a good idea...unfourtunately two negatives don't equal a positive..... and btw, the difference between you and me is i work here to get paid and don't really care, you on the other...

i'm back, i just went for my lunch break...bada bababa, i'm lovin' it......i think i could keep rotten ronnies in business myself...lol yah it's thanksgiving in canada, so i am getting double time and half, to the tune of about $25 an hour, the nice thing is, the americans aren't calling, (and there is a RUMOR that the calls to 611 are being routed to Cingular, and prior to today we have had a decreased call flow so it might be true) so there are 102 agents availible for calls, so i'm getting a call once every like 15 min.... tell you what, i just logged into my phone on the hour, i'll let you know how long until i get a call....
and your right liam i'm not giving out credit card numbers so i don't think anyone will be terribly upset

rofl they wont be dropping me. they will still have the same amount of customers and will still need ALOT of care reps. there are alot of outsourced/temps that will be dumped but as for direct employees the likelyhood will be very small. if anything it will be the smaller centers but we are near 1000 employees in this center. this is probably the safest one to be working out. you cant just drop all the care reps and keep the same amount of customers. they will still need attws care reps to support the "blue" customers and cingular reps to support the "orange" customers.
