I agree totally. Customers never want to take any responsibility for anything. I have actually been told " I will keep calling until someone tells me what I want to hear". And it gets real tough to try and explain to the customer " well the account was remarked that this happened", because then they think you are calling them a liar.

Well basically, you are. What I try to explain it is I wasn't party to that conversation, but we have to assume that if the representative took the time to notate to this level(and I generally read back to the customer what the notes are - the jargon) then he must of made them clear during the course of the call if not when they were typing it in. It generally makes them more upset, but hey, the truth hurts. In fact it rattled a couple of the escalations i've had.

Yeah same hear, sometimes you have to be plain and simple with people. The escalations I get the gloves are off anything goes, it sometimes makes them happy and other times not.

Thats one the reasons I want into Res. Because then I don't need the kids gloves and can do everything but call a dumb customer just that.

😲 I thought about going to res too, but then my friends told me that a majority of calls were escallations & so I went from dual skilled care to HVC. I'm still loving that decision & instead of taking 4 ques, I am now down to 1 w/ HVC! Highly recommended, apply iff possible, you get paid commission for contract ext's!

I'm in HVC too!!! Was Level II (still am) and taking TONS of excalations. Been in HVC since September and love it!!! Was very hesitant at first because I had to leave my supervisor that I adored. But the change was worth it!!

I lvoe escalations though, I just get irritated when people won't go away or escalate when I've stated that what their asking isn't happening.

I sort of disagree, i believe it is wrong to paint all Customers in one shade, for the over two years I've been a rep. less then half whine. Others try to get credit for everything, but most just call for help with bills,phones or payments. An GSM customers seem must smarter then the TDMA ones.

I was wondering if you have heard anything at your end if Attws. is coming to my area in the bebinning of the 2004 year?
Our Gainesville Sun(local newspaper here) said Attws will be here, with available local Attws numbers, sometime in the first four months of 2004.
At the moment I use Attws TDMA service here which works GREAT!
If you here anything please let me know.

I don't think it is a bother at all, you for some reason really like attws, and I don't mind your question or looking up the zipcode for you every couple of weeks. But as for the reps knowing, like I said we will only know when it happens not a moment before. THings change so quik around here I would no go with any rumours until I see it happen for myself. anyway as far as I see it ask away and if people don't like your post then those people shouldn't read them.
