That's why I don't work for them anymore. After six years of dealing with bullshit from customers who felt they should just get credited because they called, I got sick of it. The $$$ (or lack of) isn't worth dealing with wireless customers.

I am so glad to be out of the wireless industry! I will never get into it again.

There used to be a guy that called in every month that used to sing to the rep to get credit. Has anyone seen that guy lately?

Anyone ever had the hiccup guy? My friend gets him all the time, got him yesterday. He calls in and is hiccuping and asks if you've ever had the hiccups and if you like them then disconnects.

Heard of that guy but only like second and third hand. None of my friends have had him and i haven't had him. Sounds annoying.

Annoying to me are the people who give their phone to their kids to call 611 and just play. Or if they dont give the phones to their kids, the kids themselves. I've had kids ask me what time my legs open, one kid on Thanksgiving ask for me to send them a cheeseburger. One time a buddy of mine was reading the verbatim to disconnect the call and he slipped in on a kid prank call that santa claus does not exist. Kid stopped talking 🙂

I got a call when I was taking Care calls, this guy calls in and starts SCREAMING at me, so loud and fast I can't understand what he's pissed about. Screen Pop didn't auto-pop, what a surprise, and I hit Vu-Stats and see the WAIT is up to like 37 minutes, so maybe that's why he's mad? So I listen to him continuously, rambling, screaming. Then he stops, "Sir can I get your wireless number, area code first?" he says why the hell you need that for WHERE IS MY CHECK! so i'm thinking.. refund check? again, ask for the number.. YOU DONT NEED MY F-ING CELL PHONE NUMBER. I finally go, sir this is AT&T Wireless, I would need your WIRELESS number to pull the account up. So he says, "NO! WHERES MY CHECK! YOU ARE ADP YOU HAVE MY CHECK!" .....37 minutes ...

lol thats too funny, i had this little kid call me the other night and anytime i said anything he'd whisper *you're so stupid, i hate you!* after about 3 times, i scolded him, telling him he was using all of his moms/dads minutes, and i was going to call his mom and tell her! he whispered *shut up, u dont know my number* , so i repeated the number on the caller id and he gasped and hung up! it was classic!

Anybody get the person who calls and all you hear is like a frog-like noise in the background? It was so queer sounding I couldn't stop laughing; I couldn't finish my dead-air verbatim and I hung up. 😛

LMAO. I got him once several months ago. It was funny as hell, then he hung up on me called back and got my cube buddy not more than 5 minutes later.

Hair cut guy. Ya i had a friend that had him last month. He's still around. Have you seen his account? He calls in 4 times a DAY. His average care calls is over 100/month.

The Haircut guy!!! I heard about him......a friend of mine who ran screaming from the malicious jaws of ATT wireless had him once.

i use 2 get this drunk guy all the time who would start off the conversation asking for a supervisor, when asked why he needed to speak to one he'd slurr his words stating he didnt need to tell us, and he refused to verfify his acct. id go back and forth w/ him explaining he had to verify before we could discuss anything he stated he would just sit there and watch star trek until i connected him, and then telling me randon things like his brother played for the broncos and he was also a lawyer and he was recording these calls for his lawyer, checked his acct and he called an average of 80 times per month, always asking for sup, guy paid his bill ontime every month and it was never high at all, looked at his bill one day and saw the scariest ...
