i orginally have the hiptop 2 and since i found out suncom was discontinuing it i decided to upgrade to the 3 so i called customer service they tell they are out of it to go online and order so i do so and 2 days later recieve it in the mail and soon as i put the battery in it starts vibrating non stop i take it by a store they just tell me to send it back cuz they dont handle orders placed online so after dozens of phone calls and attempts they finally tell me i have to email online support to get a replacement for the defective 3 that was sent out so the same day the lady send out the replacement i get it ups and it has the same problem (hmmmmmm) so i email them and tell them since they having such issues wit thge 3 i wanna switch complet... Well if you talked to them liek you did in your post to me I don't doubt that they would not do anything for you. And on the other hand that is all I hear about suncom. Billing errors, phone problems, and coverage issues. And from what I see and hear they are getting worse and not better.
Ol' suncom. Quantity over quality. That should be their motto. Maybe try the replacement program again. Maybe this time you'll get a good handset. Or visit a store and see if you can have one in a retail store demo'd, then go from there. Or possibly you can take it to a rep to have it troubleshooted a bit.
