Lol, ok, what's my problem... V120c, 14 months (worked for RadioSham, 1yr plans) t720 9 months, t730 12 months, v710, 21 months, e815, 9 months and going strong...

What's the same on all these phones? The charge port...

NEVER ONCE have I had a charge port go bad, nor have I had to play with the wire to get it to charge properly...

Granted I do actually push the button in allll the way and kinda pull up on the back end of the charge plug when I remove it...

Here's one for you to chew on, remember that v120c I mentioned up there? The original charger that came with that one is plugged into my powerstrip nedt to my night-stand, has been for many years, it has charged all of these phones on a nightly or bi-nightly basis... So not...

😳 your lucky. i am not abusive to any of my phones espically my moto's and i own all of the ones you did plus some. and i replaced chargers weekly on my v60 and v120.
montly on my v710, v551 and 557 (cingular),
and bi-monthly on the e815 NO LIE.

the only moto's that used that port i didnt have a problem with was the v265 and v276.
i had to get a new charger for my v265 but that was because my niece slobbed and chewed on it so that does count.

Ok to answer a few questions yes its thinner way thinner actually its as thick as the bottom half of the 9800. the camera on this device was 2.0 and took clear shots the pics you see were taken with the 9800. sorry that some of the pics were blurry. This device in its test form could open certain windows based program files such as excel and word. I dont know if thats going to production but thats what was on this guy. Got any other questions ill answer em.

i wish that i could i only had the phone as a demo for about a week to test it. I totally forgot to take a pic of the side for the thickness. I can tell you its as thin all together as the bottom part of the 9800 so its extreemly thinner than the 9800 was and it seemed lighter too than my 9800 when i held them

I'm a Verizon Wireless customer and I currently have the Motorola E815. I want to upgrade to the LG VX9900. Does anyone know when and if it will be available? I've read that it was supposed to come out September 29th, but as everyone can see that didn't happen. Is this just another stupid rumor or should is it for real?

Someone hasn't been reading their cell phone news... 😛 I think the service yeahright was referring to is MediaFlo. In case you don't know about it, it is a wonderful thing that Verizon and Sprint are getting that will allow their customers to stream 50+ channels live. It's launching very soon.

No, i was talking abou media flow. No if it actually has it when launched then that was probably the delay, but in all honesty with Verizon's past on phone releases they will probably send the phone out without this service then offer a software update later. The whole unlimited text thing would be nice but i don't think it would take that long to simply add the feature in the billing system so i wouldn't see a huge delay for that. So I am going with mediaflo might actually be coming with the phone launch(MAYBE) or they just want to move some more of the 9800's first. who knows for sure, maybe they are just evil and like making us waite 👿

I have heard so many different release dates for this phone.

-September 29th (obviously not true)
-Your mother's birthday (up for interpretation)
-October 14th (looks unlikley)
-Mid October (...)
-October 30th
-November 13th
-Sometime this decade

So I ask you people, please stop this speculation. Unless you have some sort of hard evidence, such as it being posted in InfoManager PLEASE do not post it in here and get some of us excited and anxious.

Nice!! Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about this phone, from "internal" sources. I know that people don't like the fact that the screen drops below the keyboard, but in looking at all the pictures of this phone, you aren't losing any of the screen. It's only the phone that wraps down, yes?

New release date of 12/4 from one of the threads. But as one user mentioned, release dates can change anytime. I just hope Verizon doesn't bump it out to late December. I'm a T-mobile customer and can't stand the service. On to many occassions I get the, "Searching for Network" message. However, I'm not coming back to Verizon until the 9900 comes out.
