Does Garmin GPS work with any Verizon phones yet.
The literature says:
Place hands-free calls with Bluetooth wireless technology
The nüvi 360 along with its counterpart the nüvi 310 integrate wireless technology with a microphone and speaker that lets you make hands-free mobile phone calls. Simply dial numbers with the nüvi's touch screen keypad to make a call on a compatible Bluetooth phone. To answer calls, just tap nüvi's screen and speak directly into its built in microphone.
Which Verizon phones can synch with that device? It's really a great option especially for those who can't get VZ Navigator, or who want a larger scree...

so to answer your question no because if it dont have bt then it dont have vz navigator
most of verizon phones (not reffering to palm or smart phones) only support the hands-free bluetooth extention of the entire bluetooth options. that meens you can use a bluetooth headset but nothing else.
you can use the garmin or any nav device with bluetooth capabilities as if it was a bluetooth headset. you cannot use the nav device to access the contact list from the phone because verzon disabled that BT option. the treo line might have this option avalable.
the one thing that i have a problem with verizons phone nav feature is that what if you are in an area without verizon service. how does the nav feature work? the map database is on verizons servers, not your phone. i assume that it only works w...

hmm i never thought of that. And isn't that mostly when you use GPS: in the deep woods where there is no cell service?

The VZ Navigator does not work on an extended network. You can begin a trip on the Verizon network, say in Fresno, CA and it will download the directions like Pocket Streets and track you through the desert like regular GPS. But if you go off route either in an area with no tower signal or an extended network, then you could get lost.
VZ Navigator is available nationwide, while you are on the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area. VZ Navigator will not be available while roaming.
All Turn-by-Turn directions are downloaded at the beginning of a route (excluding recalculations of directions). Airtime charges are incurred during downloading, upon rerouting if the user goes off route during Point of Interest (POI) lookup, when Maps are downloaded, and when the phone must contact our network to update its satellite data.
When you have the VCAST - V PAK you are able to use the VZ Navigator without being charged for Airtime use.

Which Motorola phones for Verizon Wireless work with Garmin’s nüvi™ 360 GPS system?
I understand that Verizon cripples it's Bluetooth so that certain features don't work. Verizon did not have that answer, so they said to contact the phone manufacturer. The Garmin nüvi™ 360 will not work with my V3c.
