I held a krzr
I'm sure I'm not the first in the forum, but I got a chance to hold a krzr today and walked away optimistic. I've never been a huge fan of the razr, even despite the software/durability issues I never liked the width or hard straight lines on it. Well that isn't an issue with this little bad-boy. The thing is TINY in comparison to the razr. The closest phone I can compare it to for point of reference would be the nokia 2128 except half the thickness (if not more than half). The screen is quite small though which will turn a few people off. The music touch sensitive buttons on the front weren't working on the model I saw, but thats more than likely just a matter of me not having enough time to play with it. perhaps you didnt double press the activation button on the side of the phone to activate the touch sensitive buttons??

according to a random moto vendor, that new moto isn't meant to compete with the pebl, it's more for the 325 user who doesn't want a camera. it doesn't even have the UI. VERY basic. but durable.

Amen, I've seen that phone in person and can't wait for us to get it. And the KRZR is nice, I got to play with one at RadioShack Golden Quarter and I was impressed.

is the extra thickness compared to the RAZR noticable when you use the KRZR?

i never held it, but it does look significantly thicker than the razr. but maybe they could fit a stronger battery with it's new thickness!

It's a little thicker, but not in an annoying way. It's still slim in comparison to other phones. I couldn't get them to give me a "fakie" to take home.
