8300 is the best phone right now, however, every LG we have sold that has that lil skinny blue battery in it, comes back within 6-8 months with battery not charging or not holding a charge. Great phone all around, just be ready to need a new battery every 8 months or so. ..just buy an extended..problem solved 🙂

RPG, despite not being a tri-mode or having an extendable antenna, I too use and like the LG VX8300 very much.

With all due respect to the others that responded though, asking which is the "best phone" is pretty subjective. DO you mean best reception, best form factor, best battery time, best size, etc.

Yep the VX8300. But if you're getting one I would wait for the VX9900. 😎

every LG phone should be built the same way as the 8300. They could easily take the whole market!

RPG, there is no "BEST PHONE". There is only a "BEST PHONE FOR YOU". 😉

BTW, My LG 9800 has been the best phone I have ever owned. I agree that the 8300 is a very good phone as well.
