New account question

Holly

Dec 6, 2003, 1:30 PM
I have been on my husband account for awhile. He decide to cancel and still needs to pay his final bill.

My question is: Can I sign up has a new customer, even thou I was on his 2nd line and we have the same address?

Thanks,
Holly

Cool!

It will work out?, because my boyfriend was the "primary responsible person" and I wasn't. So, they would have no record as me really being a customer. Right?

I have a bet with him and I think he lost!

Thanks for the info! 🙂

One last question. I have so-so credit and my friend told me that VZ will turn me down in a heartbeat.

Is that really true?

no thats not true, at all. depending on how "so-so" your credit is, you may be asked to pay a security deposit. Usually, if someone has not so nice credit they will require a deposit of $400. You would get this deposit back after your 13th billing cycle plus interest.

She was giving our credit rating system...

good credit is passed with a "b" os "c" rating
-Not sure if this is true or not, but I was told that if anyone with a credit rating "c" is two weeks late with their payments, the phones are automatically shut off (Any Verizon reps are input on that?)

$125 deposit is required for people who have a minor bump in their credit history or just not enough of a history to be approved

$400 deposit is for someone with no established credit whatsoever

$1,000 deposit is for someone with poor credit

Hope that helped!

Not true. If you are a new customer and you don't make the payment by at least 4 days after your due date then it will be suspended. We do that so that we prevend fraud. If you have a past due acct and have to make payment arrangments then call Financial Services. Call customer service and ask for the Financial Services' Dept.

DO NOT CALL Customer Service and ask for Financial Services!! Financial Services has a direct line.

Same as LGman. Usually a beacon of 600-650 will be a 125 dep 600 or lower 400, and then 650 or gigher will be none. However, it is a good investment of 5% interest
