So, you are saying that Verizon rushed out to be 2nd in the market w/ their PPT feature, which comes in almost 10 years after Nextel perfected it, or was Verizon trying to come in first at being 2nd to the market w/ this feature, and that's why it stinks. Wink

Vzw is a large company, the largest US Wireless carrier by far. They have tons of cash, BUT they are extremely cheap. They look to use small, off beat companies, which they get bargain basement pricing from to bring new offerings to the market, often very late. This is a very conservative approach, and helps VzW bottom line, but for me as the consumer, it does nothing for me. New features / functionality show up elsewhere first, often times work better elsewhere first, and I pay a premium for it once VzW is ready to share it w/ their customers.

VzW doesn't need to be first, but they should place or show within a month or so of their competition. I'm personally not interested in any phone that LG has to offer, but it seems to be the brand VzW likes to push, once again, I'm assuming some great deal which was cut in the back end somewhere, but doesn't fit the bill for higher end consumers ...
