I've seen the LG VX6100 and think it is for me the best Verizon phone to date: I like the large bright screen and the loud ringtones. Since Verizon no longer offers this phone, can anyone recommend another Verizon phone with similar features (bright big screen and loud ringtones)? Thanks!

The lg 8100 has a nice bright screen and loud ringers. You can get the lg 6000 on eBay for 100 bucks, I liked the 6000 much more then 6100, I'm not sure if you have considered that. Hope this help somewhat 🙂

Thanks for your reply. I've never bought anything from eBay. Is the warrenty and return policy similar to, or better than Verizon's? What do you like better about the 6000? My big likes for the 6100 were the big, bright screen and the loud ringtones.

no you wouldn't have any type of warranty, so maybe you would not want that. I have bought several phones on ebay and always have had good luck. The thing I liked about the 6000 was its cool lights on the outside display and easy to read time. The 6100 did have the better internal screen tho. I had much better reception with my 6000 then I had with the 6100, but if it was working well for you then thats all that matters. The 6000 just has a better overall reviews. I can certainly understand your like for it 🙂

VX5200 is the newer 6100. However, in terms mid tier phones like 6100 the Motorola V325 is hands down the best in that group

The 5200 is definatley pretty similar. You can, though, buy the 6100 on ebay and activate it on your account.

If you do not want camera consider LG VX4650,
I think it is much better than LG VX5200.
It is a very good phone without all the 'junk'
Verizon adds on.

Thanks for your reply. No, I don't need all the junk, but I would like a large, bright screen like the VX6100, and loud ringtones. How does the VX4650 measure up in these areas?

I loved the V6100 too. I liked the style, size, the good volume, and call quality.

Of the LG's, the 4650 is very good. The speakerphone volume is about the best I've seen, so, if you don't care about a camera or bluetooth, this is a good option. The screen isn't that great, though.

The Moto V325 also is a great option. It's stylish, nice screen, great reception and call clarity, decent camera, no bluetooth. I'd definitely give this one a test run.

Others like the LG 8100 and LG 5200, I didn't like for various reasons---8100 is big, has a lot of stuff you don't want, and the volume fluctuates during calls. On the 5200, the volume wasn't loud enough for me.
