Verizon and Bluetooth, Verizon and better phones, LG VX2000

Does anyone know when Verizon will offer phones with more features - no necessarily cameras, but things like bluetooth.

I was interested in the LG VX2000 because it had a speaker phone and the open faced bar style that I prefer to a flip phone. It seems that LG is not shipping the phone to Verizon, and although it has not been discontinued, the Verizon reps are saying it is no longer available. What is the answer?

The LG-VX2000 is a piece of junk, be glad they don't carry it anymore. Horrid reception, WAY too loud or inaudible, speakerphone was a joke.
After 1 day I returned it, got a StarTac on eBay and have not looked back since!

Last I heard Verizon had no plans to ever offer a Bluetooth-enabeled phone. There was even a petition (http://www.petitiononline.com/ver123/petitio n-sign.html) to get them to start supporting the technology.
