I have a Galaxy S5, unlocked, not CDMA but with 4G LTE Bands 13 (700mHz) and 4 (1700).
Can I use this phone with Verizon (4G LTE only)?
Thanks!

I thought only Verizon phones had Band 13 on them, since in the US on the mainland & Hawaii, it's a Verizon exclusive band. Unless the phone is from Canada, where Band 13 might be used, then I doubt the unlocked phone has Band 13 on it. Also, if the phone is from Europe, more than likely, it wouldn't include Band 4 either (European & Asian phones are slow to add newer North American bands to their phones). Otherwise, if the phone has Bands 4 & 13, it can be used on Verizon (Verizon actually can not deny any device that has Band 13 on it, due to the terms of their licenses that they hold on the mainland & Hawaii). You just won't be able to make phone calls on that phone.

Are these LTE bands data only?

At this time, LTE is data only. You can only use LTE for browsing the internet & any apps that use data. Some Verizon phones have VoLTE (Voice over LTE), but for now, that only works for postpaid customers & only when calling other Verizon customers. Unlocked unbranded & non-Verizon branded phones won't have that feature at this time. So unless you're ok with using the phone for data only, you won't be able to make phone calls on that phone, since you would need CDMA for...

OK - understand it now. Thanks.

Re the band info, it was in the specs for a phone I was planning to buy online - a G900i. (Don't know where the seller was located.)

Thanks again.
