My wife and I current have a grandfathered family plan with unlimited data. Is the new promo 2 lines, unlimited talk and text and 10gb of data for $110? I thought that's what the commercial said. How does it work with my 19% employee discount? We currently have note 3s...if we switch can we save our upgrade promotion? Thanks for the help...didn't want to call in and waste a reps time until I ununderstood the facts🙂

If you are currently out of contract:
$80
-$15.20
$40 line 1
$40 line 2
-$25 line 1
-$25 line 2
= $94.80 +tax per month

If you are still in contract:
$80
-$15.20
$40 line 1
$40 line 2
= $144.80 +tax per month

As you can see, the new plan hinges on you being out of contract (and staying that way). If you upgrade later on, you can do two-year contracts and lose the discounts, buy the phone full price to keep the discounts, or upgrade to the Edge plan and keep your discounts but pay for your phones monthly.

Not sure what "upgrade promotion" refers to, but if you have any available upgrades, you'd likely not want to use them to keep the cheaper plan.

Hope this helps.

The promotion mentioned would likely be 4 lines / 10gb / $140. The edge program (verizonwireless.com/edge) gives each smartphone line access a discount which is mentioned above. for accounts 10gb or higher you will receive for each line a $25 discount. For anything under (with exceptional loyalty plansin between) currently 4 gb or lower (loyalty would be 6gb and 8gb plans) would provide a $10 discount instead.

One warning though. If you are on a OneBill system you will be inelligible for Edge and will have to split this billing first. I work in the OneBill department for an indirect call center. This process is not instant, and takes one - two bill cycles. Please also be aware that stores are getting extra commision to "force" cust...
