HTC One

While I do not want to switch to Sprint or T-Mobile for the HTC-One, I am on my way out of Verizon...Any chance this bad boy will ever see the light of day on the Big Red V?

They released the HTC DROID DNA just a couple of months ago, which has similar specifications. I doubt that they are releasing the One any soon. Or at least no less than 2-3 months after the competition.

Ting, if Sprint works were you leave.

It's been been 4 months now and the worst thing that's happened to me is that the cheap aftermarket battery they sold me with the $50 refurbished phone needs to be replaced.

Battery failure is hardly the Service Provider's fault.

But if I remember right, you're one of those guys who uses cellular for the vast majority of your internet access, and doesn't lean on WiFi much. Ting isn't the best choice if you burn over 3 GB per month. They bill $20 - $25 per GB, but they round to the nearest Megabyte once you get over 3 gigs.

Yeah I figured that whatever carrier I end up with I have to start getting into the habit of using Wi-Fi especially where allot of carriers are doing away with Unlimited everything. Sprint works okay in my area, I'll have to see if they are decent enough to get a signal....

Becuse your initial question was whether or not Verizon would get it.
And the answer is "Maybe, but it will be called a Droid."
