While I agree that most on this board are industry geeks, and even though I would amend that to say that many of us are industry employees as well, I'm not sure that the majority of this board believes that the average person doesn't want a contract. Even more, I'm not sure if I see the direct connection with the post you have responded to.

If I were to venture a guess, seeing as how most people here are industry geeks, with many of them employed in the business, a good part of the people on here - not all or most - would label most "average persons" as under-informed and trend-following consumers who would drink from the Great Fountain of Subsidy a hundred times more than they would from the Tiny Water Cooler of Meh that is non-contract pricing.

I'm just saying.
