Thinking of switching ?

So I was suckered into Sprint's unlimited data, only to find out that I made a big mistake. What good is unlimited data if I can't use it half the time or it is slow as hell, I still don't have 4G in my area. So I wanted to know if I were to switch to Verizon, would there be anyway that I could get the unlimited data ?

Hell no. Please, Verizon is coming up with creative ways to take Unlimited Data from its existing customer base. They've done everything but eliminate the feature altogether. I'm having to upgrade at full retail or finagle the upgrade from relatives with feature phones. No. If you want Unlimited Data on Verizon as a new customer...take over someone's plan.

Are you in a Metro PCS market? Their 4G isn't nearly as fast as Verizon, but it is unlimited and substantially faster than the EVDO 3G at Sprint.

I would try to be patient. I'm with you on the unlimited data. Another option for you would be T-Mobile. They have 4G ish...It's faster than Sprint's EVDO and you can get it without a contract. That said, it's a lot of work for what might be little value for you.
