Verizon Employees- Help!!!

Need some help/info. Currently I have a Motorola Razr with an unlimited data plan. I just tried to upgrade to the Motorola M and was told that I would lose my unlimited data plan. Is this true?

I thought the only folks with an unlimited plan would lose it if they were coming from a 3G device or going to the iPhone 5. Am I incorrect? The rep said this changed sometime in June 2012.....

I appreciate anyone who can shed some light on this for me. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all!!!!

www.google.com

This policy is old now. All the loopholes have been found, some of them closed. There is tons of information on this all over the web.

Yes seriously.... and I was not looking for any loop holes just updated information regarding the data plans.

Your response is coming off as very rude. Is there a reason you feel the need to be mean? I work all day and do not have time to search this entire web.

I reached out to anyone who would have the time to help me, not to those who feel the need to be rude.
If you have time to be rude you had time to be nice.

Happy holidays to you.

All you have to do is do an alternate upgrade then after 24 hours switch it to the other line that you want to keep the unlimited data on. Thank you that is all! 👀

Yes, it's true. Any upgrade will lose unlimited data. Only way to keep it is pay retail or don't upgrade.

Thank you for the information. And thank you for responding so nicely, it always amazes me that some people on this forum want to be mean and answer so rudely.

Thanks again, 🙂

How many lines do you have on your account? If more exist, what phones are you using?

I only have one line.... I went to a VZ store to play with the Moto M and decided I like my Razr better. What attracted me to the M was the size. I'm not a fan of the bigger phones but looking at the M it seems like a good phone but not worth losing my unlimited data and more importantly there is nothing wrong with my Razr. So I'm staying put.

Thank you so much for responding, hope your weekend is going well....

I work at a verion and what I can tell you is that starting the first of next year, Verison will "bug" you upgrade your plan to the share everything plan.

Ask how much data your using per month. You could be paying too much for unlimited when your using 3-4 gbs a month. Why not lower the price and get unlimited talk and text??

Something to ponder about 🙂
