I'm still rocking Verizon's Galaxy S generation ONE from fall of 2010, so it should be clear that I personally don't care about being an early adopter on the hardware side.
Additionally, the amount of streaming video I do every year is measured in minutes, not hours. Paying Sprint for unlimited data on 5 lines when all I need is one GB per user each month is kind of ridiculous.
Going straight to Sprint is only a couple dollars less than paying Verizon, about $220 a month. That's still 60% higher than Ting's plans!
I don't need unlimited minutes, unlimited text messages or unlimited data. Verizon and Sprint (and AT&T) all force me to buy a product I don't need in order to get the only part of the package I actually want- shared device allowances.
Ting does not.
Yeah see I am sorta in the same boat. Granted I only use 1 phone for my plan but am a data hog, what with using the net to look stuff up, facebook, gmail, watching youtube vids.....I am rocking the Droid X mainly cause I cant afford to get a new phone since being out of work for the last 9 months. I wonder, is it even worth switching over to Sprint from Verizon? What are you thoughts Cellstudent?
