Why doesn't Verizon get the new HTC phones that are out for ATT and T-Mobile? I am just curious, I am going to get the Samsung Galaxy III but am just curious.

They often skip over mass-produced models in favor of exclusive alternates. It's more about maintaining corporate image and controlling the product flow. If they sold even half of what everyone else sells there'd by fewer distinctions between them and other brands, as well as a diluted value for their in-house lines. DROID, for example, wouldn't mean crap if they stocked nothing but Galaxy S3, iPhone 4S, HTC One, and more.
