That reminds me of the ******* that came to me as an angry customer when I was working the "supervisor" queue at Verizon a few years ago. He had bought a phone for his out of town mistress using his Microsoft employee hardware discount (to save some money) and then had the billing address changed to his mistress' address so the invoices would go to here.

Well, Verizon sent the bills to the floozy, but we sent the New Customer welcome packet to his account-level address, so his wife opened it and started divorce proceedings.


And he was blaming me for his marriage falling apart....



Lots of crappy memories from working the phones, but I'm rather fond of that one.
