Better 4G coverage than 3G???
Is it possibly for VZW to have better 4G coverage than 3G coverage in some areas, or could it just be the phone?
My iPhone 4S shows 3 bars and everything works for awhile. Then it goes into searching for service, then no service. I had to reset my network settings and it still took a bit to get back to 3 bars of service.
My buddies Samsung Charge drops from 4G to 3G and stays on 3 bars of 3G.
And then I recently had a RAZR MAXX in this same semi dead spot. And it held onto 3 bars of 4G and data was great.
So I'm wondering if it's just the different radios in the differant phones. Or if 4G coverage is better than 3G in this area? 😕

I wonder if you are not overlooking the obvious. The iphone has a poorer radio than the Charge and the Maxx.

Motorola has a reputation for having a superior radio. There are legends about the E815. I have never bought into them and I am anything BUT a Samsung fan, but my lady DOES have an iphone and it is a wonderful device, but it leaves much to be desired as a phone. But I feel the same away about pretty much every Blackberry I ever owned. *Shrug* There is always a trade-off.
