...I have two lines eligible to upgrade before the twenty-eight and both are on 3G smartphones with Unlimited data plans. I am also on account level billing. Currently each of these two lines are paying $29.99 for the data plan. The iphone was the primary line and currently receives the employee discount. When I have called to get that discount for the other smartphones the rep laughed with glee telling me that I am lucky that they haven't taken it from my former primary line. Well, well, well...going through the motions of an upgrade to 4G handsets I discovered that these two lines WILL receive the employee discount on data plan, but if I try to change to an inactive 3G handset...no dice. Very clever Verizon!
