Ha!!! The Droid Razr Maxx is outselling the Iphone on Verizon

All that pent up demand that all of us thought there was for the IPhone on Verizon, and the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is outselling the IPhone on Verizon,. . .ha!!!!!!

I guess Motorola isn’t doing so bad after all.
Apparently, the company’s Droid Razr Maxx was
the top-selling device on the largest wireless
provider in the United States, Verizon, topping
the wildly popular iPhone. The best-selling
phone in the US is under some pressure,
according to analyst Anil Doradia.
Doradia writes, “our checks highlight initial signs
of Apple’s momentum under pressure,
particularly at Verizon, which we believe is from
the operator aggressively marketing competing
4G devices,” referring to the volume of sales for
the phone as of the June q...

As the older 3G networks start to bog down from age and the weight of usage, it only makes sense that the carriers would want to offload most traffic onto the newer 4G networks which can handle more traffic.

I'd say part of the problem for T-Mobile is that their 4G HSPA+ network is pretty much the same thing as their 3G network, so they don't have the same 'out' until they start deploying LTE.
