So I keep reading that Verizon is doing away with Unlimited Data for people that were grandfathered in, which is the situation I'm in. Did they make a final decision on this?

not a bunch of details right now. It looks like in the future, if you want to keep unlimited data, you won't get the benefit of of a device subsidy.

So full price for a shiny new smartphone or subsidy price and unlimited data goes byby.

So if I decide to keep the unlimited data I have to pay fullprice for unlimited data? That is not cool

So if people want to save money, they'll have to actually (gasp) make a decision based on research and smart thinking?

"Do I need the unlimited data? What does my past usage show? Could I lower my usage by using Wi-Fi instead?"

Questions any smartphone user should ask, instead of just blindly consuming (as the unlimited plan on its own promotes).

Or since I pay $30 for the unlimited data hotspot feature (I use this as my home internet since Verizon Bragged about how great this network is) I will just buy things used or on ebay that is what the wireless world is going to be..... They are wanting you to buy it elsewhere it saves them money IE no phone loss if you don't pay your bill.
