GALAXY NEXUS OR WAIT?

WHATEVERWORKS

Apr 16, 2012, 7:57 AM
I've had an upgrade available on my account since OCT 2010.... Its not that I don't want a new phone.

I upgraded to the RAZR for a week and was very unimpressed with battery, camera, and screen resolution/quality - Unfortunately returned. And while my friend was vacationing in EUROPE I used her HTC Rezound and it has an amazing screen but because of SENSE it was laggy TO ME... I know you can root etc..but Im really not into it. And I used a friends Samsung Original Galaxy S too, and the signal strength sucks a$$.

I have a blackberry 8330 which is a complete P.O.S. but still works...

Should I get the galaxy nexus? I need something with STRONG signal strength as I live in a basement. I get 2 - 3 bars on my 8330..I didn't live here...

That's what I'm doing. I'm in a tough position. But I'm doing it to $ave lots, and lots of $$$ to move back home to Connecticut. So I do what I gotta do! I want to be back in New England rather than the foreign southwest.

I recommend you go over to androidforums.com and read the threads in the Gnex section. Unfortunately there are ongoing issues with the phone that don't seem to be isolated, such as poor battery life and poor reception. Apparently the latest ICS update doesn't make any difference. I've been tempted too, but I'm going to wait for the next wave. I currently have the Droid Incredible 2 - no 4G but otherwise a very good phone, and the Incredible 3 (4G) is coming.
