Class-action lawsuit over MiFi texting charges

Verizon customers are charged for receiving text messages sent to MiFi or other USB-based wireless internet devices, even though the devices lack a screen with which to view the messages. Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, a law firm based in Seattle, has filed a lawsuit against Verizon on this issue and wants to hear from consumers who have used the MiFi and been charged for spam or other unwanted text messages. Just put text blocks on the phones and systematicly creditted back the error.

No need to get all class-action lawsuity here, you're acting like this was a diliberate act by Verizon to steal money from the customers. It was an oversight, and they can fix it with little issue.

Get a life, lawyer-dude.

"even though the devices lack a screen with which to view the messages." Not true. Recieved messages happen... People call in with recieved messages from grandkids or what have you all the time. There is a screen in VZAccess manager that should say text messages. How is Verizon to know whether people are not giving out these numbers as free texting lines? Btw Class action when the most I've ever seen is $.40 is that really worth the cost of a class action law suit?

Sure!
Q: What do you call 100 class action attorneys at the bottom of a swimming pool?

A: A good start!
