Passing up on the HTC Thunderbolt, what phones will be coming out and better?
I wouldn't want to be the first to get the HTC Thunderbolt. I can see many problems coming.
I've heard good things about Droid X, so I am not worried about the Droid Bionic failing.
Besides the Bionic, what others will be worthy competitors.
What's the Incredible 2 about?
I plan on getting one before summer hits. I was going crazy waiting for the HTC Thunderbolt, but I feel they failed with the marketing of it. Too much hype, reading about the battery issue, the multiple delays, has turned me off from it completely.
No review units out, meaning battery issues are fud or based on hearsay.
They also NEVER officially announced it, so it's literally IMPOSSIBLE for them to have delays.
You're EXACTLY the type of customer who shouldn't read rumors. You don't understand the difference between them and actual launches.
If any failure has been made here, it was from a constituent reseller jumping the gun on printed advertising when no launch date had even been set. Sure, it's safe to assume that somewhere, six months or so back, Best Buy was expecting a late-February release when they finalized their circular with the Thunderbolt included. Please decide what you are. Nothing in the pre-release stage is going to have any kind of quality credibility.
You can live on the cutting edge, guessing if you'll be satisfied like the Nexus S and Storm owners of yesteryear, or you can sit back and wait until 4 weeks after launch date to see what things a really like on the phones.

I have already decided what I am. I already said I wasn't going to try this phone until after I hear the complaints. I can live on the cutting edge even waiting for complaints.
