So why should Apple even care who has their elitist product? Sounds very snobby to me that only certain carriers are allowed to even touch their phone. Should Samsung, Motorola, or LG say "only Verizon is good enough for our phones"? I would think the more carriers they can get their phones on, the more money they would make. If other phone manufacturers had the same attitude as Apple, you would only have 2 carriers in the US (or only 1 carrier prior to 2-3-11). There is no reason why T-Mobile or Sprint or US Cellular can't have an I phone. It's a monopoly (now duopoly) strategy from Apple. I don't know their logic behind it either. And believe me, making a CDMA phone doesn't require "billions and billions of dollars" that people claim Verizon spent. It's a circuit board with Qualcomm chipsets. CDMA has been around 15 years now, it's not hard to design phones for it. Sounds like Apple is violating antitrust laws in picking and choosing who gets their phones.
