Easy, Apple doesn't allow pre-orders.

Order on the third, gets shipped in first come first serve manner.

Pre-orders will begin shipping from the warehouse to customers on Feb 7th with all pre-orders being delivered by the 10.

There is limited quantities of phones reserved for the pre-order so be on you computer at 3am eastern time if you want one.

There are a few people here who are reliable enough to be truthful.

There's some difference between reliability and rumor. Unreliable people come here to start a war over their brand preferences, come to bog down the forums with immature and pointless commentary, or simply come and answer questions they know nothing about.

People spreading rumor are reiterating something made up, or making it up all by themselves. At least the unreliable people who don't know the answer to a question are making an attempt at truth. Those who make or spread rumors are merely interested in the buzz it creates.

Customer Service email says shipping to arrive Feb 10th. That's better than the no information I had before.

I have read the FAQ's and didn't see anything about it. Does anyone know if I will be able to bill the phone to my account? Customer service said I could bill a phone at full retail but I don't think she quite understood everything and I have been told 2 different things before from customer service. (I'm sure you all know how that goes.) I guess I will find out on the 3rd, I was just trying to see if anyone else has had the same question and got an actual answer. Thanks

No word exactly on billing to account with the iPhone. At this point I would expect it to work like any other situation where you can bill to account. And typically, depending on your area, you're allowed to bill either $250 or $300 to your account, per active line. Typically, the full retail price of a phone would exceed the bill to account limitation, where a one or two-year contract price would not (unless it was previously a situation where your phone was $200 AFTER a $100 rebate, when you'd end up paying a portion that day and billing the rest to the account).

Based on info I have seen, the system used to process iPhone orders will only allow for credit card or gift card payment, and will not allow for BTA options. Of course since things change on a daily basis this answer may change tomorrow 🙂

February 9th, if you're lucky. For scenarios like this, they plan them to deliver ON THE DAY of launch, and if there's a chance they'll be ready to deliver before that they request a hold. Still, a few get through, sometimes even officially (Verizon's been playing with getting some phones out early in hopes that people blog/Facebook about it).
