Verizon reps ???? about Verizon games
I understand if you don't have a data plan that you will be charge per mb to download a game to your dumb phone, but are there MB charges to play the game??? Once I've paid the charges to download the game/ and cost of game am I free to play without other data charges?
Thanks.

Before purchasing game view info certain games will still occur MBs to play.

When you go to download the app it will tell you about MB usage to download and it will also say something like "depending on your plan, you may occur additional MB charges during play."

Thanks for the response...so basically you don't know before purchasing if it will cost you MB charges to play? Is that right?

It will show you right before you download. Anything tharlt promises multiplayer or comparing score worldwide will use data

If you see the little arrows pointing left and right at the top of the screen while you're running the game, it's using data.
I downloaded Tetris (or was it Bejeweled?) onto a phone of mine several years back, and I could play it all I wanted without data charges on single player. However, there was a head-to-head option to play against other people around the world, and playing that mode would burn MBs.
So, you can't even really say "good app, bad app" on the data front. HOW you play it actually matters.

Some games do charge mb for playing them. You can go to verizonwireless.com and click on Entertainment and Apps and search for your game. Once you find it, in the description it will say Airtime or Megabyte charges will apply depending on your plan

Anything that has multiplayer or any sort of highscore function will use data after purchase.
