iPhone Drops 30% of Calls In NYC???

i mean, just because someone says that its 30% doesn't mean its true. plus he doesn't say where he was calling from, he could be in the middle of a building and more than likely no one gets great reception as it may be getting blocked from getting signal.
my girlfriend was just in new york and her family has AT&T and she called me every night and no dropped calls at all.
With VZW, my phone works "in the middle of a building" and in basements, elevators, etc.
Typical AT&T drivel.

You do realize in cellular both the device and network can detect when the call is dropped and which end it was dropped from. That is why the phone announces "call failed" to you and if you look on your billing some carriers even identify which calls were dropped.
It's quite simple, if the communication is cut off without receiving an "end call" signal from the device, then the device/network connection got severed (call was dropped).
It was hands down the worst POS phone I had ever touched...and it had service out in the swamps of your state on a sight-seeing tour, where the rest of the people's AT&T phones were WORTHLESS!
The piece of crap phone rang, and I took care of a client's question, all while watching alligators ravage a piece of chicken. Cool stuff. Everyone else on the boat freaked when my phone rang. I laughed at them!
