I am eligible for a 15% discount on plans and 25% discount on equipment.

If I choose the 700 minute family plan ($69.99 for the first 2 lines,) do I get 15 % off on the 1st 2 ??

I would also be porting 3 numbers....do I get 25% on equipment for the 3 lines ??

Thank you

You would get 15% off the 69.99. You would get 25% off equipment for all 3 lines. To get the discount (online), you enter your work email, and it will send you an email to start service. The store is better tho.

One minor correction, the access discount is off the primary line only, so 15% off of $60, not $69.99...

You don't necessarily get 25% off phones.

In my area, the government discount on phones is higher than the sale price with rebate 95% of the time. Very rarely do we sell a government employee a phone using their discount.

The 25% discount is on accessories.

The standard Government discount is 15% off the primary line on family share plans & 25% off of accessories. Make sure when you register online via your work email, that you use your primary number on your plan and you will receive a confirmation email to complete the enrollment. (if you use a secondary $9.99 line it will not work as those lines do not qualify)

the 25% discount does not apply to equipment discounted by 2 year contracts

this would only help you in cases of no-contract or retail purchases

See, that doesn't apply where I am, and I don't know where in the US you could go to a Verizon store and get 25% off a full retail price on the phone because of your government employee discount or ANY employee discount.

Heck, I work for Verizon and WE don't get that kind of discount either.

So let me get this straight. When people come in and say I get a 25% discount on equipment, that doesn't mean 25% off the 2 year price? That try to make me believe that's how it works, but being indirect I don't know becuase we can't offer it.

No, see, there is no 25% discount on phones for any employee, regardless of the contract. When people come in telling us they have a 25% discount on phones, we correct them. They have a 25% discount on most accessories, and they get the same pricing that the government gets. I can even show them the pricing that government employees get.

If a government employee comes in wanting a Motorola VU204, I'm sure it's better than 25% off the shelf price because that phone is often discounted for any valid employee (of just about any company) to be free after they send in the mail-in rebate. They pay $50 and get a $50 rebate. Someone without any employee discount would likely pay $100 to $130 and get the same $50 rebate.

However, if that s...
