Any phones coming with XV6800's features?

Hello!

I have an XV6800 with MR2 update, and I am wondering if there are any similar (but better!) phones coming soon. I use it for business.

Requirements:
**MUST BE VZW** Period. AT&T fans, p*ss off. Been there, done that, hated it.
Windows Mobile with Office Mobile apps
ActiveSync (for Exchange Server sync)
WiFi (for email when out of USA...sometimes on a ship)
Good non-echoing Bluetooth that does not drop when a calendar reminder pops up
Speaker-independent dialing (I added Voice Command to my XV6800)
Large keyboard such as XV6800
Touch screen
MicroSD card or similar, easily accessible
Unblocked GPS so I can use Google Maps. I have the Valhalla workaround, but it is unreliable. It worked great until about March of this y...

It's a different form factor but you might consider the Ozone.

I spent a little more time with one of my store's units today. I was surprised to see the typical HTC modified mini-USB connector. Not that you can't use the standard mini-USB connector, but you'll have to be aware of what brand charger you use. If you use an older Motorola charger you could fry your battery.

From what little I can use, I'd say it's a good phone. Still has that crappy non-touch screen solitaire on it, though. Ug.

Ozone is a non-touchscreen device, correct?

Yeah. And as such, it has the streamlined "Standard" 6.1 software, which is similar to the older WinMo 5.0 for Smartphone edition.

Excellent phone, even if the VZW version is down some RAM from non-VZW versions. You can try and activate an Alltel version, and load VZW software.

You can also get plug-ins to change the registry, without hacking it, that get rid of the pop ups.

For more information on those, and other Windows Mobile plug-ins, go here: www.ppcgeeks.com .

I just can't find the will to recommend it, personally. I had it. I've had every HTC on Verizon since 6600. It's not the Touch Pro that other networks carry - it's been altered for Verizon.

The very first thing I did with it started forming my opinion - opening the slider and listening to the screech of the springs. They're almost as loud and unbearable as nails on a chalkboard.

I've not personally seen any quality problems. No, it's not the same as my Alltel version (that I can't user anymore not 6 months after I spent $600 on it, F U very much VZW for that one), but it's still the best WinMo phone VZW has, and will do everything he needs and wants.

If I were looking at Touch Pro and had more money to spend, I'd also consider Touch Diamond.

Thank you to everyone who replied. I'll look into those phones.

You stated, "You can also get plug-ins to change the registry, without hacking it, that get rid of the pop ups." I have PHM Regedit installed (to do the Valhalla hack). Can I use that to change something to kill the new email notifications?
