I agree in some aspects.

Smartphones need the following:

Full Java for their Web Browsers
Flash for their Web Browsers
More sound/video codecs

I don't agree with WiFi. Some people want it, but personally I think it's useless on a phone.

All Verizon CDMA phones by RIM BlackBerry have full Java. Only our dumb phones have BREW which is fixing to change to Java.

No. Phones that have Java built into them run Java ME (Micro Edition), not Java SE (Standard Edition). Pull up a BlackBerry: Options: About ... It says Micro Edition right there 🙂
