This is just wrong.
The largest, for many, is the faulty reliability of AT&T's network. Owners of iPhones are quick to complain about dropped calls, poor call quality, and slow performance of the data network. Many I know carry a second phone primarily for voice calls, and more often than not that voice phone runs on the network of Verizon Wireless, which is owned by Verizon Communications (VZ) and Vodafone (VOD).

A friend of mine in Arizona swithed out his Verizon RAZR (admittedly a bad phone) for an ATT iphone. I speak with him daily and the quality of calls and number of dropped calls when speaking with him has risen markedly.
I would love to have the iphone but not until Verizon gets it.
Unlike the other poster who's friend is in AZ, I get no dropped calls and my service works great here. I believe he has some problems but as we all know it depends on other factors as well.
Don't listen to anyone but yourself. Try it and if you have issues that can't be corrected than return it.
