My opinion of the main problems fort he 4 major.
Verizon: Price
At&t: 3g speed/strength
T-mobile: Lack of 3g and premium services.
Just my little rant, tell me what you think...
considering we offer more 3g coverage than they do (especially in rural areas). Doesn't that mean we should be more expensive? Or at least ATT cheaper?

You have a problem with Verizon's prices, but didn't list that as an issue with AT&T?
I didnt list every problem, i listed the MAIN problem.
My point here (several days in the making) to the OP is that every carrier has its flaws, strong points, ups and downs, problems and victories. When you throw all the carriers together under the microscope, they're practically the same thing. It's the little differences that mean a lot.
I've never viewed cost as a winner or killer of any service. If low cost were the reason people stuck with a carrier, we'd all be using Cricket. In my opinion, complaining about cost is a bit like complaining about wind. But, if cost means that much to you, skip the big ...

Two aspects being equal, I'd say she'd have to come up with another reason not to like Verizon. I'm sure we can come up with a "blocked something or another" comment from someone.

The OP said that in her "opinion of the main problems fort he 4 major" carriers, she feels that Verizon's problem is price.
My original point was, AT&T is the same price, and yet, the quality of their 3G network seemed to be more important to the OP. I didn't find that very consistent with things the OP said in this thread and in other threads.
My secondary point was, for this topic of problems with one (or two) of the four major carriers, cost is not an issue. If cost were the primary issue - the primary PROBLEM with the carrier - then Verizon and AT&T would ...

I'm not saying you couldn't save money with another carrier. There would be a portion of the market that can and does chose the less expensive route. My point is that there is a large portion of US wireless subscribers that do not chose the less expensive route.
I can attest that if you lived in the Rockies, where I live, you'd pay double for Verizon over Sprint any day. My folks live back east and they would say the same thing. The best price in the world is nothing if you spend most of your time waiting for your service to work, can't connect to someone or something else, or can't get decent customer care.
Now that I've stated that I'll probably have problems. 🙄
Verizon: Price is the same as ATT, they do charge for everything, but they also put the most money into their network infrastructure. So Im okay with paying a little more.
ATT: Agreed on 3G. Their 3G is not fully rolled out and suspect even "3G" areas. Also, some of their phones have issues switching from edge to 3G. Also, voice quality is pretty poor.
Tmobile: Great prices, but the network is way behind in many areas. I would only consider Tmobile if I never travelled and live in a strong Tmobile area.
Chris
Verizon- Hands down the best network. Regular phones suck, but if you stick to BB than you can really enjoy the network, and first class CS.
ATT- Their network is adequate if you don't know any better, but over all sound quality is poor and unstable.
Pink- Obviously not as robust as ATT but surprisingly a better sounding network. Still until they change from pink and stop with all the teenage crap I can't take them seriously.

Shouldn't forget the #1 customer service for "pink". Can't beat #1. TMO's phones have drastically change since about September also. After this Year 3g will be much better as well. Also acquiring Suncomm is a huge plus. I can see big things from TMO, obviously VZW has a huge leg up at this point but I think once the Major cities service reaches equal there will be a lot of people thinking twice about VZW, not taking away from VZW or anything just saying the playing field gap is quickly closing.
Big think also your missing where they need to add more features that the other big three have; GPS, TV, etc.....
Sprint= Sucks
At&T= Sucks
Verizon= Sucks
T-Mobile= Really Sucks
Doesn't take a genious to figure this out. I am glad I am here to guide all you confused cell-users
