Yes I was speaking about the Google Maps, not the Nokia Maps 2.0. The version of Google Maps that I have is a native S60 client made specifically for S60 FP1 devices, and its a .sisx file. Does it have a Java Emulator built into it? I do not know. I just know its better than the standalone Java version that is compatible with most phones.
As for Nokia Maps. Its search is so horrible it couldn't find your next door neighbor if she was standing next to you naked!!
BUT...with Google Maps, once you find your destination, you save it as a favorite, and its automatically incorporated into Nokia Maps under your favorites there, That makes a world of difference.
18 months and counting with my N95 and have had my Dare almost a month.
