Verizon is to expensive

VZWookiee

With sprint 130 bucks buys you a 2 person 1500 minute family plan, which include nights at 7 pm, unlimited txt, unlimited data (including bb bis) and GPS, and TV!!!

verizon just cost a ridiculous amount of money and provides know better service than sprint.

Verizon family plan for two

1400 mins 90 bucks

unlimited txt 30 bucks

two bb bis data 60 bucks

GPSx2 20 bucks
200 bucks with verizon ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

what up verizon? ๐Ÿ™„

Simple, there's no coverage in the area, or their phones are probably a Samsung a420, a640, or LG 225, where the signal is weak on the phones.

And that's specific to that area. I'd put money on it (big money actually) that there are several areas throughout the country where sprint gets a great signal and VZW phones don't get a signal.

It's different in every area...

When something is negative or less than use the word "no".

When you're aware of it or have "know"ledge use "know".

What up VZWOOKIE?

When Sprint gets 75% the coverage geographically VZW has come back to us.

It's actually more than 75%. Verizon may have a larger coverage area, but not by much. I know in my area Sprint actually get service in more places. Also, Sprint has a MUCH larger REV A EVDO service area than Verizon.

By the way, if you are in one of those few areas where Verizon works and Sprint does, just roam on Verizon for FREE!!! Hey, that works.

All I can say without sounding to negative. You pay for what you get.

You want a cheap plan and service. Go with Sprint but you'll pay for it when it comes to you getting Coverage and good customer service.

You want good customer service and great coverage, it's going to cost.

My friends and I have Verizon and one friend has Sprint and he is always on the phone arguing with them or holding their phone up trying to get a signal.

Customer service is overrated. I have not spoke to a CSR in years. Then again you can do pretty much everything on a GSM network without having to call Mommy ATT and keep her abreast of your nefarious actions. Not so much with Verizon.

I agree 100%, I have one Line of service with Verizon (non-pda) and my bill is like $160 per month. I could get the same plan with Sprint and save myself $60 bucks a month but I really didn't want Sprint. I had Sprint on the past and I hated them. They are a company with no customer ethics.

AT&T's plans were the same as Verizon and in my opinion the Iphone is over-rated and has lots of flaws.

Left me with Verizon and I love my plan with Verizon, it fits my personal needs and I never occur overage charges.

Like (cwcanty) said, there are lots of choices in the US, and you need to pick what is right for you. Verizon has never been known for being cheap and never will be.

Just my two cents...

Never underestimate the importance of Customer Service. You may go years without having to call but if you ever do, getting something resolved quickly can be very important.

Also, I don't know where you are at but keep in mind Sprint uses primarily the PCS band which has horrible building penetration. When I lived in Scottsdale, I had Sprint for about 2 weeks and I thought their coverage was aweful.

There is a reason why Sprint is losing hundreds of thousands of customer's each month. Just be prepared to get what you pay for.

I know when I was in the US, I had Verizon Wireless and I have Voda now. I have never had a problem with VZW. The thing that sold it for me was driving 75 miles into the El Mapais ...

Some people care about cheap not better, Thats how Hyundai became better. By being cheap and giving good value. Sprint isn't going anywhere and is being perceived as a good value.Thats a first step to positive results.

What you guys don't understand is you are looking at the big picture of network coverage. Many people only care what coverage is like in thier area, Thats why regionals are still selling at a premium. They bring a lot of custopmers who don't care about coverage in South Dakota or Montana.

On a local level Sprint can be just as good as Verizon and a whole lot less expensive as well. Its a great deal for those who don't care about having coverage everywhere.

If you call customer service they will check your account to see if you are eligible to get up to 100 bonus mins every month for the duration of your contract however it will require a new contract. Not all accounts are eligible and not all of them get 100 mins. some may get 50 mins.
